Packaging Operations Operator 1
Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform finished product packaging to satisfy customer, internal, clinical, and other demand
- Ensure finished product is packaged per procedures and quality specifications
- Inspect in-process packaging and components for consistent quality; remove defective products/materials
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation of manufacturing activities, including device history records and inventory counts
- Perform simple mathematical calculations to assist with batch record completion
- Assist with inventory counting activities as required
- Participate in safety audits and daily safety discussions/observations
- Perform routine cleaning of packaging stations and processing equipment
- Follow PPE and product contamination control (gowning) requirements
- Handle hazardous waste appropriately, as needed (e.g., 200-proof ethanol)
Experience Required
- 0 to 5 years of relevant experience
- Minimum 6 months of industry work experience required
Skills & Certifications
- Ability to follow procedures and quality specifications
- Ability to read and understand documentation
- Strong attention to detail
- Good documentation practices
- Basic mathematical calculation skills
- Familiarity with computers and general business software
- Ability to work well in a team environment
Eligibilities & qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- No drug screening required for this assignment
- Background check must be fully cleared before starting (no exceptions)
- Must be flexible for overtime, static or rotating shifts as required
