Your Role as Commercial Insurance Account Executive:
As a Commercial Insurance Account Executive, you will play a critical role in managing and growing a book of Commercial Lines accounts. This position requires strong relationship-building skills, in-depth insurance knowledge, and the ability to identify client needs and deliver expert coverage solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
🔹 Account Management & Client Service
Manage and service a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts
Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
Provide expert coverage advice and solutions tailored to client needs
🔹 Policy Administration & Renewal Management
Oversee policy renewals, ensuring smooth and timely delivery
Identify gaps in coverage and present proactive solutions
Work closely with carriers and internal teams to secure the best coverage options
🔹 Business Development & Growth
Drive growth through account rounding, cross-selling, and upselling
Seek opportunities to expand accounts and generate referrals
🔹 Other Duties as Assigned
What You Need to Succeed:
✔ Key Competencies:
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail
Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Relationship-focused mindset with a passion for client satisfaction
✔ Qualifications:
3+ years of commercial insurance experience
Active Property & Casualty license (required)
Strong underwriting and coverage knowledge
Experience with carrier rating systems and AMS360 (a plus)
