Landscaping Laborer - Lawn Care

As our growth continues, we’re pleased to offer an opportunity for a Landscaping Laborer – Lawn Care Technician to join our team. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for applying lawn care treatments - such as fertilizer, weed control, and insect control, while delivering top-quality service to our lawn care customers.

We offer a competitive salary of $20–$27 per hour based on experience and Pesticide License status , plus commission on sales. Workdays begin at 7:00 AM and run until production is complete, Monday - Friday & Saturdays as needed.

Responsibilities for our Landscaping Laborer – Lawn Care Technician:

• Provide basic lawn care services including fertilizer, weed control, grub control, etc.
• Provide lawn care analysis & provide recommendations to improve the lawn.
• Generate new leads, door to door canvassing and provide no obligation quotes.
• Obtain at least one client referral or lead per week on average.
• Generate sales of new prospective clients and existing clients through add-ons.
• Provide exceptional customer service to existing and potential clients.
• Complete all paperwork properly and in a timely manner.
• Maintain a professional personal appearance.
• Keep the assigned truck and equipment clean.
• Assist with equipment repairs.
• Assist fellow technicians on other routes.
• Meet production goals for each round of applications.
• Perform other related duties & responsibilities as required to meet department goals.

Requirements for our Landscaping Laborer – Lawn Care Technician:

• High school diploma & valid driver’s license.
• Obtain and maintain a Pesticide License within 30 days of initial employment .
• 6+ months of client service or/and general labor experience.
• Previous experience in landscaping lawn care preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent time management, organizational and multi-tasking skills.
• Good manual dexterity & excellent stamina.
• Ability to do the following:
  • Interact with clients in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Work long hours during peak production times Mon-Fri & Saturday as needed.
  • Lift and carry 50 pounds.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment under minimum supervision.
  • Work outdoors in various conditions (heat, humidity, rain, dust, noise, cold).
  • Pass background check.
