Position Overview:
Mystic Valley Regional Charter School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Head Coach to lead our Varsity Cross Country team for the Fall 2025 season. The ideal candidate will foster a competitive, respectful, and character-building environment that aligns with the school’s mission and values. This is a part-time, seasonal position.

Responsibilities:

• Lead all aspects of the varsity cross country program, including planning and conducting practices, managing games, and overseeing assistant coaches.

• Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal growth among student-athletes.

• Ensure compliance with MIAA regulations and school athletic policies.

• Communicate effectively with players, families, and school administration.

• Serve as a positive role model who supports the mission and core virtues of Mystic Valley.

Qualifications:

• Prior coaching experience required; high school coaching experience preferred.

• Demonstrated commitment to the development of both athletic skills and character in student-athletes.

• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

• Must uphold and support the mission, philosophy, and culture of Mystic Valley Regional Charter School.

• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
