Consultant, Forecasting & Analytics (Cambridge)
About Viscadia
Viscadia is a consulting firm whose mission is to empower life sciences companies with clarity and confidence through forecasting. With offices in the United States, Switzerland, and India, we are well-equipped to provide the support that global pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies need to make decisions quickly and with confidence. We are deeply committed to a vision of shared growth and success for our clients, colleagues, and communities.
The Opportunity
Viscadia is seeking a highly hands-on Consultant to support a fast-growing life sciences client. This role is deeply embedded in forecasting work and requires close, ongoing collaboration with U.S.-based client stakeholders. You will serve as both a technical expert and a trusted thought partner, helping teams not only build and maintain forecast models, but also understand, use, and stand behind them.
This is a high-impact, high-expectation role suited for someone who thrives in complex, client-facing environments, enjoys being close to the work, and takes pride in being the expert in the room.
Why consider Viscadia as your next career step?
Since our founding in 2010, we have grown from a startup into a vibrant and collaborative community of more than 80 professionals. Our growth has been fueled by strong client partnerships and the passion of our people.
At Viscadia, you’ll find a culture that’s entrepreneurial yet supportive, ambitious yet fun. You’ll have the opportunity to shape your career, influence our growth trajectory, and work with some of the most innovative pharma and med tech companies in the world.

- Quality of life is incredibly important, especially when you work in a highly competitive growth industry. We are dedicated to promoting positive and supportive work environments.

- Own and execute day-to-day pharmaceutical forecasting activities, including model updates, data refreshes, scenario analysis, and assumption management
- Build, maintain, and enhance forecast models with a strong emphasis on accuracy, transparency, and usability
- Deeply understand forecast drivers, risks, and sensitivities and proactively surface insights to client teams
- Develop and evaluate multiple forecast options, clearly articulating tradeoffs, risks, and implications before recommendations are made
- Use Excel, VBA, SQL, and Python or R, plus Access and Tableau as needed, to automate forecasting workflows, validate data refreshes, and produce client-ready outputs
- Support onboarding of new client stakeholders by walking them through forecast models, assumptions, and methodologies
- Conduct working sessions and hands-on workshops with client teams to explain how models are structured, how they should be maintained, and how outputs should be interpreted
- Serve as a day-to-day point of contact for client questions related to forecasting models, data inputs, and analytical outputs
- Partner closely with client stakeholders in a highly collaborative, in-office culture, providing confident onshore support
- Integrate market dynamics, competitive intelligence, and therapeutic area insights into forecasting work
- Develop therapeutic area expertise to strengthen analytical rigor and client credibility
- Apply structured problem-solving frameworks to address complex client questions
- Translate complex analyses into clear, concise narratives for both technical and non-technical audiences
