Part-Time Pastry Chef/Chef (Opportunity to Grow into Full-Time)

A local bakehouse is looking for a grounded, detail-driven part-time pastry chef/chef to join our small team. We’re a craft bakery built on care, consistency, and quality—with the potential for this role to grow into full-time as the business expands. We use natural, unprocessed ingredients, and make as much from scratch as possible. We focus on high quality ingredients, and value food as something that nourishes our bodies and souls. We are expanding our dessert selections and plan to offer some healthy lunch options as well. We value and offer plant based, and vegetarian options for guests. This is an area we would like to expand on as well.

Required availability:

• Some early morning shifts
• Weekends
• Schedule can be flexible
• Additional hours may become available as we grow

What you’ll do:

* Support pastry and viennoiserie production from prep to finish

• Scale, mix, shape, bake, finish, and package products with intention and consistency
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and follow food safety standards
• Help keep production flowing smoothly during busy mornings

What we’re looking for:

• Pastry/baking experience (professional preferred)
• Strong time management, organization, and attention to detail
• Someone who cleans as they go, and dishes are everyone's resposibilty
• Reliable, calm under pressure, and team-oriented
• Pride in craftsmanship and a respectful, positive work environment
• Someone who values real food, and real ingredients
