Radiologic Technologist - X-Ray

Rate: $32.00 – $38.00/hr

Role

Provide mobile X-Ray and EKG (if applicable) service to nursing homes, health care facilities, and other miscellaneous facilities.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Perform and process X-Rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment and transmit to Radiologist for interpretation.
• Transport and unload portable X-Ray equipment from company vehicle into facilities to perform ordered exams. Must obtain clinically diagnostic, technically competent images.
• Perform EKGs (as needed) and transmit to Cardiologist for interpretation (if required).
• Scan exam paperwork/billing documents daily per protocol.
• Communicate regularly, efficiently, and professionally with peers, management, dispatch department and clients.
• Responsibilities include all duties outlined in full job description, Associate Handbook, or assigned by management.

Physical Demands:

• Radiologic Technologists may push/pull 50–100 lbs using ramps and pulleys.
• When pushing/pulling equipment inside facilities or homes, force may increase.
• 50+ lbs of force may occur 16–24 times per day.

Certification Requirements:

• ARRT Required.

State License Requirements:

• Massachusetts License Required.

Other Requirements:

• Maintain state licenses, ARRT Certification, health & operational requirements.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing.
• COVID-19 vaccination required (exemption must have proper documentation).
