Clinical Deployment Specialist

Role Overview: Ampa is seeking a clinically experienced Clinical Deployment Specialist to lead on‑site deployments, training, and go‑live support for Ampa’s advanced neuromodulation platform. This role serves as the primary clinical representative at customer sites, ensuring successful system implementation, clinician readiness, and long‑term client confidence.
This is a travel‑intensive, customer‑facing role , ideally suited for a nurse or clinical professional with hands‑on experience deploying medical devices in live clinical environments. Prior TMS experience is not required ; however, clinical deployment and training experience is essential .
Key Responsibilities:
- Travel to client sites to support clinical deployment and go‑live of Ampa systems.
- Partner with internal teams to ensure systems are properly installed, tested, and ready for clinical use.
- Serve as the on‑site clinical expert during initial implementation, ensuring readiness across staff and workflows.
Training & Clinical Education
- Deliver hands‑on training to clinical and technical staff on system operation, daily workflows, and patient treatment processes.
- Train physicians and providers on clinical use, treatment setup, and best practices (protocol specifics provided by Ampa).
- Adapt training style to diverse audiences, delivering clear, confident, and professional clinical education.
Qualifications:
Required
- Clinical background strongly preferred (e.g., RN, LPN, neuro/psych technician, or other hands‑on clinical role).
- 2+ years of experience in a clinical deployment, clinical training, or customer‑facing medical device role.
- Proven experience supporting live clinical environments during system rollout or go‑live.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain clinical and technical concepts to both medical and non‑medical audiences.
- Highly professional, polished presence with physicians, clinic leadership, and healthcare staff.
- Self‑directed and comfortable working independently in a travel‑heavy role.
- Willingness to travel frequently ( 50–70%+ ), including occasional short‑notice travel.
Preferred (Not Required)
- Experience with neuromodulation, interventional psychiatry, or other device‑enabled clinical therapies.
- Familiarity with FDA‑regulated medical devices.
- Experience working in a startup or fast‑growth healthcare environment.
