Kovalus is headquartered in Wilmington, Massachusetts, a suburb north of Boston but has employees located worldwide.

Kovalus is seeking an experienced, results oriented Director of Membrane Manufacturing Operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in managing large scale membrane production facilities, driving operational excellence and delivering high quality products.

Responsibilities

Typical activities include:

  • Team Leadership: Provide strong leadership to the manufacturing team, in Monterrey, Mexico and Wilmignton Massachsuestts, global logistics/supply chain, EHS, and Maintenance. Will be responsible for fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and operations excellence. Mentor and develop team members to build a high performing and motivated workforce.
  • Operational Management: Oversee day to day manufacturing operation, including production scheduling, resource allocation and worklow management. Ensure that production targets and KPIs are met while maintaining high standards of safety, quality and compliance.
  • Cost Management: Develop and manage the manufacturing budget, ensuring efficient use of resources. Identify opportunities for cost savings and drive initiatives to improve operational efficiency.
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement strategic plans for membrane manufacturing operations in alignment with company’s overall objectives.
  • Quality Assurance: Establish and maintain robust quality assurance and continuous improvement processes to ensure that membrane products meet or exceed industry standards and customer expectation.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience managing a large scale manufacturing operations, preferably in membrane industry
  • Must relocate to Wilmington, MA
  • Excellent leadership, team management, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strategic thinker with a results oriented mindset
  • Excellent team management and leadership skills.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) required.

Compensation $177,000-$262,000 plus bonus potential

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to ascend and descend ladders, stairs, and in proximity to loud equipment.
  • Must be able to lift and carry or otherwise move up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Must be able to see and respond to at-risk situations.
  • Must be able to wear personal protective gear when in industrial locations.
  • Must be able sit for longer periods of time as well as move about throughout the office and production, / laboratory environment.
