Postdoctoral Fellow, Quality Use of Medicines (QUM)- Employment Type: Full - time (35 hours a week)
- Duration: 2 year Fixed-Term (possibility of extension, funding dependant)
- Remuneration: $91k - $121k base (plus 17% superannuation and leave loading)
- Work rights required: Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. Candidates must hold full rights to work in Australia to be considered for this position.
- Location: Kensington, Sydney
- Conduct and coordinate research activities to high scientific and ethical standards.
- Contribute to the development of research questions and study designs.
- Undertake literature reviews and data analysis using qualitative and/or quantitative methods.
- Prepare peer-reviewed publications, reports, and conference presentations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and engage with stakeholders.
- Assist in preparing research grant proposals and ethics submissions.
- Support knowledge translation and dissemination of findings.
- A PhD in pharmacy, medicine, nursing, public health, or a related discipline.
- Experience conducting systematic reviews and health-related research using qualitative and/or quantitative methods.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including academic writing.
- Proficiency in data analysis software (e.g., NVivo, SPSS, SAS, Stata).
- Understanding of ethical and governance requirements in health research.
- Experience contributing to research funding applications.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic research environment.
