Account Executive / Business Development Position Profile: State of Massachusetts
Department: Business Development & Client Relations
Reports To: Firm Administrator and Manager of Business Development & Client Relations
Position Summary
This hunter role drives firm growth by proactively identifying, pursuing, and securing new strategic relationships with healthcare providers and referral partners in the Boston area and expanding in the state of Massachusetts. The Account Executive must excel in persuasion, negotiation, and consultative selling to convert prospects into committed business sources while maintaining existing relationships. Success requires persistence, relationship-building, and a results-oriented mindset in a fast-paced legal services environment Key Responsibilities. This role has a base salary plus uncapped commissions.
- Prospect and develop new business opportunities with providers and strategic partners.
- Represent the firm at events, host networking opportunities, and negotiate agreements.
- Secure executed BAA, retainers, and supporting documents while coordinating internal demands.
- Provide client updates, deliver recovered benefits, and maintain detailed records. Collaborate with Marketing and Litigation teams on content, events, and operational support.
Qualifications
- 3+ years in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in healthcare.
- Proven hunter track record with sales targets met/exceeded.
- Proficiency in CRM systems, spreadsheets, and document management.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
