Travel Registered Nurse Oncology Job

TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking an experienced RN – Oncology for travel assignments . This role focuses on providing specialized care to cancer patients , including administering chemotherapy, monitoring treatment progress, and offering emotional support . Responsibilities
- Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other cancer treatments .
- Monitor patient responses to treatments and adjust care plans accordingly.
- Educate patients and families on cancer treatments, side effects, and symptom management .
- Collaborate with oncologists, radiologists, and multidisciplinary teams .
- Perform central line care, blood transfusions, and pain management .
- Maintain detailed patient records and follow oncology protocols .
- Travel to various hospitals and cancer centers for temporary assignments .
Qualifications
- Education: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license .
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in oncology nursing .
- Certifications: BLS and OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse) preferred.
- Skills: Proficiency in chemotherapy administration, symptom management, and patient advocacy .
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long hours and assist patients .
- Travel Readiness: Open to temporary travel assignments .
