Manufacturing Plant Maintenance Mechanic

Location: Avon, Massachusetts

Hours: First shift, 7:00am–3:30pm

Rate: $29.00–$34.00 hourly, depending on experience

Your impact

Reliable equipment means reliable products. In this role, your technical mastery keeps our production lines running—and our customers supplied with the quality they trust. The work you do each day directly improves safety, uptime, and yield.

Key responsibilities

• Own routine care of assets: clean, lubricate, align/adjust, and calibrate equipment.
• Test systems, troubleshoot faults, repair issues, and order/replace components.
• Perform preventive maintenance and tackle unscheduled repairs across mechanical and electrical systems.
• Evaluate chronic failures and propose upgrades that improve availability, capability, and output.
• Root-cause and resolve equipment problems with a continuous-improvement mindset.
• Write detailed technical reports covering modifications and maintenance procedures.

Qualifications

• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs consistently during the shift.
• Experience in manufacturing or warehouse environments preferred.
