Senior Product Manager - Grants Management

The Role
We're looking for an experienced product management to build, launch, and grow capabilities for Veeva Grants. You will work closely with early adopters, customers, sales, consulting, and engineering to construct a product definition, a solution map, and roadmap, and define detailed product specifications. Veeva Grants is a new application for Life Sciences and you will be the one taking it from zero to one.
We’re looking for a self-starter that takes initiative with a natural ability to execute, adapt, and learn quickly when faced with ambiguity. You will work closely with a team of industry and technology A-players, who together are bringing to life the next generation of Veeva products to Medical Affairs.
What You'll Do
- Be hands-on. Design, Prototype, Configure Veeva Grants from scratch - validate solutions rapidly to ensure we solve the right problems, in the right order
- Be agile. Design, implement, iterate
- Be a storyteller. Author and design high-quality specifications and communicate specific, actionable requirements to your engineering teammates
- Be an owner. Create and manage the roadmap for your product area, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams. Keep up with the latest Grants Management software and Life Sciences industry trends, and distill them into product requirements
- Be a team player. Work with Engineering, QA, and Product Management to build solutions that harmonize across Veeva applications
- Take pride in your work with a passion for excellence
Requirements
- 8+ years of progressive experience in product management
- Experience with pharmaceutical, educational, or research grants
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated expertise in design, product development, and strategic planning
- Experience in researching and understanding customer and market requirements to develop short and long-term product roadmaps and plans
- Experience writing detailed user stories and managing a story backlog
- Ability to understand and communicate architectural requirements, preferences, and limitations
- Track record of effectively collaborating with engineering/QA to define, design, and deliver the product
- Experience with data modeling (ERDs) and Lucidchart
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and comfortable with ambiguity
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related discipline
- Must be based in a region in the Eastern Standard Time zone
- Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the USA or Canada
Nice to Have
- Experience in digital product design tools such as Figma
- Experience in the clinical trials industry

Compensation
- Base pay: $120,000 - $200,000
- The salary range listed here has been provided to comply with local regulations and represents a potential base salary range for this role. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range above or below, depending on experience and location. We look at compensation for each individual and base our offer on your unique qualifications, experience, and expected contributions. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation in addition to base salary, such as variable bonus and/or stock bonus.
