We are looking to fill an Electropolisher position with an elite local company. This position requires electropolishing and passivating metal products, performing in-process inspection, pre-cleaning parts, racking/un-racking parts, rinsing parts on the production line, and trafficking parts between departments. It is a production position in a fast-paced Electropolishing Job Shop.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Follow documented procedure for generating assigned production work
• Ensure electropolishing and passivation processes are adhered to
• Identify non-conforming product based on visual and/or dimensional inspection criteria
• Swiftly communicate quality and quantity issues to supervisors and/or co-workers
• Manually pre-clean parts
• Document in-process inspection results
• Monitor equipment to ensure it is in proper working order
• Transport in-process work between departments
• Maintain safety and good housekeeping standards
• Additional duties as assigned

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to read and comprehend written job instructions
• Must be able to accurately document processing notes
• Ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced production environment
• Ability to lift 50-75 lbs. regularly and safely
• Ability to use hand carts and pull fully loaded pallet jacks
• Ability to remain on feet continuously throughout the workday
• High School diploma or GED preferred
• Previous experience in electropolishing, plating, or metal finishing strongly preferred
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, feel, reach with hands and arms, use rotating forearm and wrist movements, and talk or hear. Occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds without assistance and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Regularly exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals. Frequently exposed to risk of electric shock. Occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles, and vibration. Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Hours: Full-time - 7am to 3:30pm

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
