Engage Senior Therapy is now hiring a passionate and patient-focused Occupational Therapist at our partner Assisted Living Facilities in Lexington, MA . In this role, you will determine appropriate occupational therapy care and treatment for a geriatric population at a wide range of functional levels. The ideal candidate will have a passion and interest for working with the geriatric population in both a memory care setting as well as an independent living setting.
As an Occupational Therapist, you will:
- Conduct patient evaluations to assess functional abilities, daily living skills, and cognitive performance
- Develop and implement individualized care plans focusing on activities of daily living (ADLs), functional mobility, and other goals that matter to your patients
- Lead wellness initiatives and group fitness classes to encourage healthy habits and social engagement among patients
- Provide care with a high level of independence in assisted living communities, while always supported by the broader Engage team for guidance and resources
- Educate patients and families about strategies to improve independence and better quality of life
- Document patient care services in compliance with state and facility standards using EMR
- Deliver care at one or more assisted living locations , providing meaningful services to a diverse group of seniors

- Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program
- Active or pending state license to practice occupational therapy
- Passion for delivering quality, evidence based patient care
- Superior customer service and interpersonal communication skills
- Experience or interest in geriatrics, with skills in adaptive equipment and ADL training
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, families, and colleagues
