A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Pharmacy Technician I in Boston, MA !

Compensation:

• Pay Rate: $23.00 per hour bi-weekly
• Benefits: Available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
• 401(k): Available with company match after 1 year of service

Highlights:

• Contract assignment with potential for permanent hire based on attendance, performance, and business needs
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, rotating shifts between 8:00am–4:30pm or 9:30am–6:00pm
• Closed weekends and all national holidays
• Setting: Onsite, patient-facing role within a specialty pharmacy

Responsibilities:

• Assist customers with specialty medication inquiries and provide technical recommendations
• Process and fill prescriptions accurately and efficiently
• Make refill calls, set up deliveries, and handle patient communication
• Support prior authorization processing, copay assistance, and benefit verification
• Perform point-of-sale (POS) transactions, handle cash, and operate payment systems
• Maintain pharmacy inventory, restock shelves, and organize work areas
• Collaborate with team members to ensure excellent patient and provider support
• Deliver outstanding customer service and maintain compliance with company and regulatory standards

Requirements:

• 1+ year of Pharmacy Technician experience
• Valid Pharmacy Technician License in the State of Massachusetts
• Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills
• Basic computer proficiency (Word, Excel, and data entry systems)
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting

Preferred Qualifications:

• National Certification (PTCB or ExCPT)
• Specialty pharmacy experience (Oncology, MS, Hepatitis, HIV, Rheumatology, Dermatology, Transplant, or Gastrointestinal diseases)

Education:

• Required: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable)
