GM Technicians needed
Job Summary: Central GMC of Norwood is seeking skilled and experienced Automotive Technicians to join our team. As a General Motors Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing vehicles in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards. This is a full-time position within our service department. Compensation & Benefits: Flat rate positions starting at $35.00/hour, flexible shift scheduling options available for a happy work life balance. Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough vehicle inspections and diagnose any issues using diagnostic equipment and tools
- Complete repairs and maintenance tasks according to dealership and manufacturer standards
- Communicate with service advisors and customers to explain necessary repairs and provide accurate estimates of repair costs
- Keep detailed records of all services and repairs performed on vehicles
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Continuously update technical knowledge by completing training programs and staying up-to-date on manufacturer guidelines
- Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an Automotive Technician
- General Motors/ASE certifications preferred but not required
- Proficient with diagnostic tools and equipment
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
