Part-Time Weekend Event Staff – Site Director (Boston, MA) at 3STEP Sports. Zero Gravity Basketball operates as the liaison on site and is part of the 3STEP Sports LLC team, overseeing events and staff across locations.

Responsibilities

• Entering scores into tourneymachine.com
• Answering questions from customers about the tournament
• Posting high quality videos and photos across all social media platforms
• Proper handling of all money and following money handling procedures
• Filling out the Site Director Reconciliation Form
• Filling out Injury Report Forms for any serious injuries at the facility
• Proper handling and care of all Zero Gravity equipment and supplies
• Communicating with coaches, referees, customers, facility staff, and others to resolve conflicts
• Knowing and communicating Zero Gravity rules to referees and coaches
• Keeping courts running on time
• Communicating with the Tournament Director about major issues or relevant information
• Setup and breakdown of the facility
• Proper management of other Weekend Event Staff at the facility
• Any other tasks required by the Tournament Director

• Strong Desire to Work in Sports
• Friendly and customer service oriented; relevant experience preferred
• Ability and willingness to work for prolonged periods
• Available to work the majority or all Zero Gravity Basketball Events
• Strong Communications

• Excellent Time Management
• Reliable Transportation
• Willingness to travel up to an hour for an event
• Willingness to handle confrontational situations
• Excellent Conflict Management Skills
• Previous Event Management Experience preferred
• Ability to properly handle cash; relevant experience preferred
• Management Skills; relevant experience preferred
