Diesel Mechanic

Aerotek Aviation is looking to hire a Diesel Technician (Ground Support Equipment) to maintain and repair vehicles/equipment at Boston Logan International Airport. Ideally looking for candidates that have worked in the Diesel Mechanic field but open to Automotive backgrounds as well.

Responsibilities:

• Perform light & Heavy repairs on GSE equipment
• Diagnose engine mechanical issues and repair (diesel, gas, and LP)
• Troubleshoot A/C and D/C electrical systems
• Ability to read an electrical schematic

Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 4+ years of experience performing automotive, diesel, or electrical work
• Ability to read schematics
• Strong knowledge of gas and diesel engines experience
• Must have tooling to meet minimum tool list
• Ability to perform electrical testing and troubleshooting
• Ability to attain Airport issued ID badge

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Boston, MA.

The pay range for this position is $30.50 - $33.50/hr.
