Hazen and Sawyer is seeking a Mid-Level Electrical Engineer for our Boston, MA office. Work Setting:
- Hybrid (remote and office)
Key Responsibilities:
- Candidate will serve as the lead electrical engineer on projects for water and wastewater facilities.
- Responsibilities include supervision of less experienced staff working on projects, and interaction with clients and engineers from other disciplines.
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified candidate should have knowledge in industrial power design, including medium and low voltage electrical power distribution, motor control, VFDs, lighting systems, equipment layout and related activities.
- Candidate should have a good working knowledge of the NEC and related Codes.
- Candidate must also have good communication skills, including interaction with clients and contractors.
- AutoCAD experience is a must
- Professional Engineering License is required.
- 5-10 years in electrical engineering and design and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering are required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Revit BIM software and SKM power systems software is desirable.
- Experience with instrumentation and control systems is a plus, including field and panel instruments, operator interfaces, and PLCs.
