What You'll Do:
- Maintain accurate monthly financial statements and complete month-end and year-end close processes for multiple business units in alignment with GAAP and internal policies.
- Prepare and reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts, analyze P&L results, and report unusual trends, variances, or issues to management.
- Support the efficiency of the finance department by implementing improved accounting processes, tools, and financial systems.
- Prepare and distribute monthly financial reporting packages, interact with management across the organization, and assist with audit fieldwork and tax return preparation.
- Uphold confidentiality standards and perform additional accounting duties as assigned to support departmental operations.
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field. (required)
- 2+ years of experience in general ledger or public accounting (non-tax). (required)
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to produce high-quality, accurate work under tight timelines. (required)
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. (required)
- Collaborative team player who can also work independently and take initiative as a self-starter. (required)
- Must be comfortable to work with a hybrid/remote team. (required)
- Industry experience in one of the following areas: healthcare, senior care, multi-entity accounting, or public accounting (attest/CAS) experience. (preferred)
