Part time Optometrist- Optometrist needed part time, opportunity to grow to full time
Private multi-specialty surgical practice in the Norwood area is growing and is ready to hire a part time Optometrist. This position has the potential to grow to full time. This established practice is growing and needs an Optometrist to provide full scope exams: primary care, medical, post-op, etc. This is a great opportunity to join an established practice that has excellent reviews.
Practice is open M-F
Prefer 2-3 days per week but flexible
Full scope practice with OCT, Visual Field, etc
Opportunity to grow to full time if interested
Residency training is not required, open to new grads
Practice has excellent reviews and offers a great work environment
Responsibilities of the Optometrist (OD)
Perform comprehensive eye health and vision examinations
Diagnose disease and vision disorders
Counsel patients regarding their vision needs
Requirements of the Optometrist (OD)
Doctor of Optometry degree (OD)
License to practice in the state of MA
Excellent clinical and communication skills
Ability to thrive in a team environment
