Videographer - Boston Arts Club's Rising Stars Program Performance - The Lion King KIDS
Since its founding, Boston Arts Club has worked to change the trajectories of students' lives across the Greater Boston area through theater, dance, and adaptive arts education. At the heart of our work is the belief that the arts are for everyone and can alter a child's path for the better. We provide district and state-aligned, inclusive programming through schools, libraries, and community centers. Our programs center on accessibility, cultural relevance, and creative exploration. We are proud to be among the only arts organizations offering adaptive arts within BPS. Through partnerships, passion, and purpose, Boston Arts Club continues to expand our reach and deepen our impact towards advancing students' and their communities' lives.
, Volunteer Videographer – The Lion King KIDS Performance Organization Boston Arts Club – Rising Stars, Theatre Education Program (2nd-5th Graders) Location The Calderwood Pavilion, 527 Tremont St, Boston, MA Date Wednesday, December 17, 2025 Time Commitment Approx. 3-4 hours from 4 30p-8 30p Position Overview Boston Arts Club is seeking a volunteer videographer to professionally record our Rising Stars performance of The Lion King KIDS. This performance showcases students in 2nd-5th grade who have spent the fall rehearsing, and we hope to create a high-quality archival video to share with families and use in our program materials. Responsibilities- Arrive in advance of the performance to set up camera(s), tripod, and audio capture.
- Coordinate with staff to choose an appropriate filming location within the theatre.
- Record a dress rehearsal run-through and the full performance of The Lion King KIDS.
- Monitor audio and video throughout the show to ensure consistent quality and framing.
- After the performance, provide
- A full-length, high-resolution recording of the shows (digital file).
- Basic editing (e.g., trimming, simple titles, and basic audio leveling), as necessary.
- Share final files with Boston Arts Club via a mutually agreed-upon method (cloud link, drive, etc.) within an agreed timeframe.

- Support a local arts nonprofit and help celebrate the achievements of young performers.
- Receive credit as Videographer on our materials and, if desired, a letter of reference.
- Great portfolio piece permission to include appropriate excerpts in your reel (with BAC Human Resources approval).
- Complimentary ticket to the performance for a guest.
