Sr Manager, BI Analytics & Reporting (Webster or Boston, MA)
This role leads and develops analyst‑level employees and managers while ensuring the accuracy and quality of all data, reports, and deliverables. It oversees the successful execution of data insight initiatives through strong team management and effective cross‑functional collaboration. The position establishes and enforces quality controls, departmental standards, and regulatory compliance while anticipating future needs related to people, technology, and budget. It is responsible for communicating analytical findings and business impacts to stakeholders across and outside the organization. Additionally, the role guides the design of reporting and analytics solutions and leads advanced, cross‑functional data projects that drive strategic decision‑making and operational optimization.
Responsibilities- Develop and supervise analyst-level employees and/or subordinate managers.
- Ensure accuracy of data and deliverables of reporting employees with comprehensive policies and processes.
- Organize and drive successful completion of data insight initiatives through effective management of analyst and data employees and effective collaboration with stakeholders.
- Implement quality controls and departmental standards to ensure quality standards, organizational expectations, and regulatory requirements.
- Anticipate future demands of initiatives related to people, technology, budget, and business within the Data Analytics & Reporting unit and design and implement solutions to meet these needs.
- Communicate results and business impacts of insight initiatives to stakeholders within and outside of the company.
- Oversee the design and delivery of reports and insights that analyze business functions and key operations and performance metrics.
- Lead cross-functional projects using advanced data analysis techniques to discover insights that will guide strategic decisions and uncover optimization opportunities.
- Bachelor’s Degree or professional level of knowledge in a specialized field, or equivalent, related experience Required or
- Associate’s Degree equivalent with 6-8 years’ experience
- 4-6 years' experience or equivalent related knowledge
- Proficency with tools such as SQL, Power BI ( or similar visualization tools), Snowflake and Automation tools
- The incumbent must have experience in supporting at least 2 of the following areas of the business: Underwriting, Claims, Operations, Information Technology, Product, Actuarial, Business Development, or Advanced Analytics
- Incumbents in this role should have at least 3 of the following experiences: * Taking on a role in different function, such as IT or Advanced Analytics, to bring increased knowledge and perspective back to Business Intelligence (especially important for the Advisor and Senior Advisor levels) * Participating in or leading a cross functional team * Participating in or leading complex projects * Completing an assignment in another team/department * Working on a global project team
- Strong ability to plan and manage numerous processes, people, and projects arising from various functional areas simultaneously.

Pay Philosophy: The typical starting salary range for this role is determined by several factors including skills, experience, education, certifications, and location. Some roles at Mapfre are eligible for commission and/or bonus earnings, in addition to salary, calculated based upon factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.
