Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver therapeutic interventions and exercises according to each patient's plan of care
• Document patient progress, responses to treatment, and any changes in condition
• Assist with patient education and home exercise programs to promote independence
• Communicate patient status and concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and compliance standards to keep everyone safe

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Active Massachusetts PTA license (or ability to obtain before start)
• Ability to follow treatment plans and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
• Dedication to providing compassionate, patient-centered care

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

Knowledge & Skills

• Physical therapy interventions and patient care techniques
• Accurate documentation and medical record-keeping
• Patient education and home exercise program instruction
• Strong communication with patients, families, and care teams
• Infection control and safety compliance practices
