Are you passionate about quality and precision? We are seeking a dedicated Quality Inspector II to support our manufacturing operations on the first shift. In this vital role, you'll play a key part in ensuring products meet our high standards and exceed customer expectations. What You Bring to the Table:

• Proficiency in using measuring devices such as calipers, micrometers, steel rulers, pin gages, surface plates, and height gages
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately
• Experience with visual inspection of products in accordance with customer specifications
• Skill in inspecting and testing in-process and finished goods
• Strong documentation skills for completing inspection reports and logs
• Ability to identify, quarantine, and report non-conforming products
• Knowledge of measurement equipment operation and troubleshooting
• Experience inspecting incoming materials and verifying compliance
• Ability to read and interpret simple instructions, memos, and documents
• Effective communication skills for presenting information clearly to team members and customers
• Basic math skills, including calculations involving rate, ratio, and percentage
• Familiarity with word processing, spreadsheet, and email software, and internet use

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience operating FARO & Micro-Vu measurement equipment
• Knowledge of dimensional verification for PPAP and 1st article inspections
• Ability to develop internal Control Plans following customer and company requirements
• Background in a metal fabrication environment with a focus on continuous improvement and quality systems

Preferred Education and Experience:

• High school diploma (required)
• Associate degree in a related field (preferred)
• 2 or more years of experience in a metal fabrication environment with hands-on inspection and quality management systems

Other Requirements:

• Onsite presence required
• Knowledge of industry safety standards and quality expectations
• Ability to lead and train Level I inspectors as needed
• Willingness to assist with lean process initiatives and project improvements
• Ability to support calibration procedures and ensure measurement equipment compliance with ISO standards
