ALM Product Management Intern

We are seeking a motivated Product Management Intern to join our team and gain hands-on experience in SaaS product development and strategy. This role offers exposure to product lifecycle management market research and customer insights while working closely with a Boston-based Product Manager and global teams across the U.S. India and Europe.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete PTC University Codebeamer courses to build product knowledge.
• Collaborate with a Product Manager to create two epics for Codebeamer 3.4 .
• Conduct light research on general infrastructure and internal tools .
• Work on Codebeamer self-service or storage/memory monitoring and reporting including defining acceptance criteria for long-term solutions.
• Review and categorize customer ideas from PTC Community identifying common themes and pain points.
• Prepare a PowerPoint presentation summarizing key customer challenges .
• Perform market research on top competitors analyzing strengths weaknesses and providing actionable recommendations.
• Participate in weekly PM team meetings 1:1 sessions and shadow additional product management discussions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Engineering Computer Science Information Technology or Business Administration .
• Strong interest in business SaaS technology project management product development or product strategy .
• Excellent analytical communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to think critically and work independently with guidance.

PTC carefully considers a wide variety of factors when determining compensation. The anticipated average hourly rate for this position is $32/hour. This rate reflects a good-faith estimate of compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on a candidates major degree currently being pursued and location.
