The Town of Chatham is seeking an organized, collaborative, and technology proficient administrative superstar to become the next Department Coordinator for the Department of Natural Resources.
Under general direction of the Director of Natural Resources, the Department Coordinator coordinates and provides administrative and clerical support to the Department and its Divisions.
The Department Coordinator is responsible for the Department’s payroll, accounts payable and board and committee administrative support and provides customer service as the first point of contact in the Department.
This benefits and pension eligible position is 40 hours per week. Starting annual range is $65,811.20 - $68,473.60 paid at a biweekly rate of $2,531.20 - $2,633.60 (increasing to $ 67,163.20 - $69,888.00 paid at a biweekly rate of $2,583.20 - $2688.00 effective July 1, 2026). The position is covered under the Chatham Municipal Employees Association.
