The White Hut is looking for a skilled crew member to join our team. The iconic White Hut has been serving up the best burgers and hot dogs in Massachusetts for over 80 years and this is a unique opportunity to join our team! Crew members are tasked with cooking breakfast menu items in conjunction with our staple hamburgers and hot dogs on a flat top. Crew members also perform essential duties in many different areas including grill operator, sandwich builder, fry station, drinks and cashier/order taker. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A WHITE HUT CREW MEMBER

Crew Members are essential to the operation of our restaurant and are responsible for multiple stations including the cash register area, grill, dressing station, fry station, lobby and prep area. You help produce our amazing food and deliver a positive customer experience each day. Your day in the kitchen includes food prep before you grill, fry, and, cook foods according to quality guidelines and standardized recipes.

With your passion for food and your sense of urgency, you create high quality hamburgers, hot dogs, milkshakes, and more. You test the food as it's being prepared by tasting, smelling, and piercing it with a fork to determine that it is thoroughly cooked. Once the food is ready, you portion and build orders with accuracy and deliver them to guests in a quick and friendly manner.

You bring that passion with you as you train new employees to the position as well. As a crew member you also assist with tasks essential to the overall restaurant operation including prep work, cleaning duties, and putting away receivables from deliveries. Being able to create smiles through your culinary creations and appetizing presentations is your favorite part of the job!

QUALIFICATIONS

Passion for food
A team player with a hospitality first mentality and a keen willingness to learn
Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
Ability to stand, walk and lift heavy items for extended periods of time
Two years experience preferred, but we will train the right restaurant candidate who shows a willingness to learn in a collaborative environment

WORK SCHEDULE

This full-time position includes day and evening shifts as well as weekend shifts. Full-time employees are preferred.
