Call Center Supervisor (Weekends Only)

We are seeking a compassionate and composed professional to oversee weekend operations for a mental health lifeline call center. This role is vital in supporting both callers in emotional crisis and the frontline staff handling those conversations. The ideal candidate brings call center leadership experience, and the emotional resilience needed to support high-impact work.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Saturdays and Sundays, either 2:00 PM–10:00 PM or 3:00 PM–11:00 PM
• Pay Rate: up to $25.00/hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and support weekend Call Takers, providing real-time coaching and guidance
• Answer calls from individuals experiencing mental health crises, emotional distress, or suicidal ideation
• De-escalate challenging situations and provide crisis intervention when needed
• Ensure professional, empathetic, and nonjudgmental support is delivered consistently
• Efficiently navigate multiple communication and data systems while on calls

Required Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of supervisory or managerial experience in a call center or customer support environment
• Prior hands-on experience working in a call center
• Professional experience handling emotionally sensitive or challenging conversations

Required Skills:

• Ability to remain calm, composed, and emotionally regulated during high-stress interactions
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel)
• Strong verbal communication and real-time decision-making under pressure
