ARE YOU THE LICENSED PHYSICAL THERAPY ASSISTANT OUR TEAM NEEDS?
- Current licensure by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Board of Registration of Allied Professions
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to participate in pool activities with individuals, including lifting and swimming as needed
- Genuine passion for working with children and a commitment to improving their lives
- Associate of Science Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution recognized by the American Physical Therapy Association.

WHAT VITAL ASSISTANCE DO YOU PROVIDE?
This rehabilitation position will involve working 32 hours per week during daytime hours, offering a consistent and predictable schedule to support your work-life balance.
As a Pediatric Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant in our day program, your day will center around providing direct physical therapy treatment to children according to the plans established by our Physical Therapists. You will also play a vital role in training our Day Habilitation Aides and Residential Supporters on implementing crucial programs like range of motion exercises and ambulation techniques, ensuring the safety and progress of our young members. Throughout your day, you will observe and document the progress of the children, providing regular feedback to the supervising therapist to help refine their treatment plans. Maintaining thorough documentation of all treatment activities, including monthly flow sheets and quarterly notes, will also be a key part of your routine, ensuring comprehensive and continuous care. You will also have the opportunity to participate in pool activities with the children, which may include assisting with lifting and swimming to support their therapeutic goals.
