About the Position
Shift Information
- Shift Type: Day / Evening
- Shift Length: 10 Hours
- Schedule: 40 Hours per Week
- Shift Time: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Clinic Schedule: 6 Days/Week
Responsibilities – Peritoneal Dialysis RN
- Assess and monitor patients receiving peritoneal dialysis treatment
- Administer and manage peritoneal dialysis procedures safely
- Educate patients and families on home dialysis care and infection prevention
- Monitor vital signs, lab results, and patient response to treatment
- Operate and troubleshoot Baxter and Fresenius PD dialysis machines
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and charting
- Collaborate with nephrologists and healthcare team members on care plans
- Follow infection control, safety, and dialysis protocols
- Respond to patient complications or emergencies during treatment
- Ensure proper setup, cleaning, and maintenance of dialysis equipment
Requirements
Requirements
- Minimum 2 Years RN Experience
- BLS Certification required
- RN License required (facility willing to wait for license)
- BSN Preferred
