Accounting & Office Administration Specialist
Amherst area nonprofit is seeking an Accounting & Office Administration Specialist $55k - $65k
Accounting & Finance
- Process A/P, A/R, expense reports, and credit card transactions
- Perform bank deposits, reconciliations, and monitor cash activity
- Maintain general ledger entries and assist with monthly close and P&L reporting
- Support audits, compliance filings, and year-end processes
HR & Office Administration
- Assist with onboarding, benefits administration, and employee records
- Support daily office operations, including supplies, scheduling, events, and visitor coordination
Qualifications
- 2-5 years of accounting experience (A/P, A/R, G/L, reporting)
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred
- Strong attention to detail with a process-improvement mindset
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Excel, and HRIS systems (ADP or Paylocity preferred)
