Description

American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a MA RN license, telemetry experience, and prior travel nursing experience.

Details

• Position is located in a hospital Emergency Department setting
• 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend required
• 8-week contract
• Floating to a sister facility may be required
• No on-call responsibilities
• No charge nurse duties required

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required and must be in hand at time of consideration
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association)
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification required
• Minimum 2 years of telemetry experience required
• Minimum 1 year of prior travel nursing experience required
• Flu vaccine required; declinations are not accepted
• COVID vaccine and booster required (medical exemptions allowed)

Additional Information

• A telemetry/ECG pass-or-fail test will be administered on the first day; failure may result in assignment termination — study materials will be provided upon assignment confirmation
• Biweekly orientation schedule
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted
• All previous employees of any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility (travel, per diem, or permanent) must have a minimum 6-month break before being considered for this position
