**Job Title: Compounding Manager**
**Job Description**
Provide daily supervision, direction, and support to compounding and Pre-Weigh staff. Ensure strict compliance with FDA, OSHA, GMP, and internal SOPs across all compounding operations.
**Responsibilities**
+ Supervise and guide daily activities of compounding and Pre-Weigh staff.
+ Ensure compliance with FDA, OSHA, GMP, and internal SOPs.
+ Manage departmental budget, create budget inputs for plant budget, and identify saving opportunities.
+ Develop and implement a 3-5 year strategy for improving compounding processes.
+ Oversee weighing, measuring, batching, processing, and documentation activities for accuracy and consistency.
+ Maintain accurate and timely production records, batch documentation, and cleaning logs.
+ Manage scheduling, staffing, and workload distribution to meet production demands.
+ Train, mentor, and coach employees; support ongoing skills development and cross-training.
+ Monitor inventory of raw materials and coordinate with Purchasing/Materials Management.
+ Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues and improve processes.
**Essential Skills**
+ 3-5 years of compounding experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
+ Experience in pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, or food manufacturing is strongly preferred.
+ Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
+ Comfortable with calculations involving percentages, fractions, and decimals.
+ Familiarity with various units of measurement (e.g., pounds vs. kilograms, liters vs. fluid ounces).
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Liquid compounding experience in a regulated business.
+ Experience in GMP or FDA environments is strongly preferred.
+ Experience in high-speed liquid fill is a plus.
+ Change over, preventative maintenance, and CIP experience.

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
