We’re looking for a bilingual Branch Manager who will lead and oversee the daily sales and operational functions of a high-volume branch (six or more full-time employees), including depository services, home equity closings, and facilities management. You’ll ensure consistent adherence to Credit Union policies and procedures while identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and drive results. This role requires a proactive leader who models the Credit Union’s values, fosters a strong team environment, and works to deliver a consistently positive experience for members. What You'll Be Doing (Your Responsibilities)

  1. Functions as management authority in the Branch office in regards to sales operational, depository, and certain lending issues. Guides and advises staff and members regarding complex member issues. Ensures proper communication between departments.
  2. Responsible for hiring, training, coaching, evaluating, developing, promoting, compensating, and disciplining subordinates within the current policies and procedures established through Human Resources and within approved budget guidelines.
  3. Leads and manages sales activities, programs, processes and tactics across the branch organization and local marketplace focused on retaining and deepening member relationships and attracting new members and business to the CU.
  4. Leads and manages sales process expectations through weekly observations to support one on one coaching with employees to measure and evaluate against performance. Conducts performance management per the agreed upon standards when goals are not met.
  5. Leads, manages and coordinates sales activities, programs and tactics, across the Branch Office and local marketplace, focused on retaining and deepening member relationships, as well as attracting new members to BrightBridge.
  6. Be actively involved in community organizations and events to represent BrightBridge in the Merrimack Valley area.
  7. Manages all aspects of ATM services at Branches including: maintenance, security and daily servicing.
  8. Establishes and maintains the Branch Budget as approved by the VP Retail Banking & Operations. Makes suggestions for creating operational efficiencies as identified.
  9. Assists in developing policies within area of responsibility and ensures the standard operation procedures within the branch are written, communicated and followed. Authorizes exceptions to accepted operational policies and procedures, within established guidelines, when circumstances warrant.
  10. Acts as Membership Officer, as approved by the Board of Directors.
  11. Conducts dialogue and feedback with all department managers throughout the Credit Union regarding member service issues and concerns. Works across business lines to enhance member experiences, optimize opportunities and generate incremental revenue for BrightBridge.
  12. Assists members with problem resolution, more complex deposit/lending issues, etc. in a prompt, effective and professional manner.
  13. Determines that proper control and individual accountability of cash handling procedures are maintained.
  14. Adheres to all aspects of the Credit Union Bank Secrecy Act policy and procedures.
  15. Motivates staff and creates an exceptional experience by encouraging maximum potential and moral, by utilizing rewards and recognition tied to fun spirited, team-oriented environment.
  16. Supports the sales/service culture by conducting monthly meetings, one-on-one goal measurement/alignment meetings with staff and keeping communications open as it relates to the department goals as well as the overall company goals.
  17. Performs additional duties as requested.

What We’re Looking For (Your Qualifications)

  1. Related Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
  2. Minimum of four years branch operations experience within a financial institution.
  3. Minimum of two years management/supervisory experience preferred.
  4. Proven written and verbal communication, organizational, and leadership abilities.
  5. Must possess initiative, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to effectively manage daily operations of the Branch.
  6. Must be familiar with all applicable regulatory issues and compliance.
  7. PC skills to include MS Office, Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint required.
  8. On call 24/7 for all branch security calls by contracted vendors, and local police and fire departments.
  9. Provides Medallion and/or notary service for membership. (Required as part of the job within 90 days of hire)
  10. Must be eligible to register with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System & Registry (NMLS) and must maintain registration with NMLS as a registered Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO).
