This is a field position with routine daily travel within our Northeastern Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire territories.

We are looking for an experienced Regional Claim Consultant to join our team!

What You'll Do

The Regional Claim Consultant (RCC) serves as a point of contact, performing claim reviews, and acts as a liaison for policyholders regarding claims. The RCC is responsible for analyzing complex or technically difficult workers' compensation claims to determine benefits due. This position works with high exposure claims involving litigation and rehabilitation, ensuring ongoing adjudication of claims within industry standards and company service expectations, and to identify subrogation of claims and negotiate settlements. This position works in conjunction with the Claim Department, policyholders, claimants, and defense counsel to ensure an efficient claim handling process.

What You Bring

• Preferably a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years experience in claim handling and/or insurance investigations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• The ability to work independently to organize and prioritize work and the ability to succeed in a high volume, fast paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft software such as Word and Excel.
• A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Field experience in Special Investigation Units (SIU), third party units, or other insurance claim units is highly desirable.
