We are a family-owned real estate development company specializing in high-end, multi-unit residential construction. In addition to our development operations, we maintain an owned rental portfolio. Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Bookkeeper/Accountant to join our team. This role is primarily responsible for the financial oversight and controls of our development projects and rental portfolio. The ideal candidate is highly organized, accurate, and capable of managing multiple financial responsibilities simultaneously. This is a full time in office position

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain financial controls and oversight for all active development projects and the rental portfolio

• Generate detailed weekly financial reports, both custom and through QuickBooks

• Process and pay all company bills in a timely and accurate manner

• Perform monthly bank statement reconciliations

• Ensure complete organization and documentation of all financial records

• Assist with light payroll accounting and related entries

• Support light administrative tasks as needed

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting, preferably in a real estate or construction environment

• Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks (required)

• Strong command of Microsoft Excel (required)

• Demonstrated ability to produce detailed, accurate financial reports

• Experience with accounts payable and bank reconciliation

• Strong understanding of core financial concepts

• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines independently

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with real estate development and/or property management

• Experience with payroll processing or payroll accounting
