Location: Hyannis, MA (02601)
Job Type: Contract | Travel
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Evening Shifts (3:00 PM–11:00 PM or 4:00 PM–12:00 AM) | Every Other Weekend | Occasional Holidays

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist (Rad Tech) to perform diagnostic imaging procedures that support accurate patient diagnosis and treatment. This role requires a strong focus on patient safety, image quality, and adherence to radiation protection standards in a fast-paced hospital environment.

• Perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays and radiographic exams as ordered by physicians
• Prepare and position patients to ensure accurate imaging and patient comfort
• Operate radiologic equipment safely to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Review images for quality and accuracy before submission to radiologists
• Follow strict radiation safety protocols to minimize exposure
• Accurately document procedures and patient information in EMR systems
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to ensure efficient workflow
• Monitor patient condition during procedures and respond to any adverse reactions
• Maintain imaging equipment and report any malfunctions
• Adhere to infection control and hospital safety standards

• Active Radiologic Technologist license (Massachusetts required)
• ARRT certification required
• BLS certification (AHA) required
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in a hospital or clinical setting
• Strong knowledge of radiographic procedures, positioning, and radiation safety
• Experience with PACS and EMR systems
• Excellent communication, organizational, and patient care skills
