Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an ICU travel assignment in Worcester, MA, requiring SICU experience and an active MA RN license.

Details

• Work in a Surgical ICU at a high-acuity hospital environment
• Patient population includes surgical, trauma, and transplant patients
• Patient ratio is 1:1-2
• Charting is performed in Epic
• Schedule is 4x12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM–7:00 AM), transitioning to day shifts (7:00 AM–7:30 PM) after approximately one month
• Every other weekend is required
• Floating to other adult ICUs and stepdown units is required as needed
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• SICU experience is required; candidates with previous travel experience and Level I Trauma experience may also be considered
• Must reside more than 200 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates
• Two professional references required for consideration, with at least one from a Nurse Manager or higher
• Candidates with prior disciplinary actions on their nursing license are not eligible for this position

Additional Information

• Must pass a pass/fail EKG/telemetry test at orientation (one attempt allowed)
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• This is a high-acuity, busy hospital environment
