job summary:
The Analytical Technical Operations (ATO) team seeks a motivated contingent worker with hands-on experience in analytical chemistry to support Technical Development programs. This laboratory-based role will focus heavily on the execution of analytical testing to support process development, characterization, and data generation across the company's pipeline. You will work in a fast-paced environment where technical rigor, precision, and consistency are critical. The ideal candidate has experience in cell culture, immunoassays, and plate-based workflows. In this onsite role, you will be focused on cell culture, ELISA-based assays, and data generation to support Technical Development programs. The position requires hands-on execution of cell-based assays for relative protein (RPE), along with strong attention to detail and reproducibility.

responsibilities:

• Perform cell-based ELISA assays to evaluate relative protein (RPE)
• Culture and maintain mammalian cell lines using aseptic technique
• Prepare assay plates, perform transfections, and execute multi-day workflows
• Conduct serial dilutions, reagent preparation, and plate-based assays
• Monitor cell health, confluency, and viability
• Operate laboratory equipment including plate readers, plate washers, incubators, and biosafety cabinets
• Acquire and analyze data using curve fitting methods
• Maintain accurate and organized experimental records
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support troubleshooting
• Contribute to process improvements and lab efficiency initiatives

qualifications:

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Cell Biology, or related field 0-2 years of laboratory experience in cell culture or bioassays
• Basic understanding of ELISA or immunoassays
• Experience with mammalian cell culture techniques
• Familiarity with aseptic technique
• Strong organizational and time management skills

Preferred

• Hands-on experience with cell-based ELISA or potency assays
• Experience working with adherent mammalian cell lines
• Experience with plate-based assays and multichannel pipetting
• Familiarity with plate reader software and data analysis
• Experience with serial dilutions and assay setup
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed procedures
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Adaptability in a fast-paced laboratory setting
