Product Manager, Freight Management Technology

Please note that this is a hybrid role based in Boston, MA, and will require you to work in the office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
Who We Are
We are looking for a passionate Product Manager to join the Freight Management Technology(FMT) team. The FMT team is responsible for ensuring reliable and cost effective movement of goods from our suppliers to Wayfair's warehouses and onward to the last mile hubs. This role will support a step change in Wayfair management of the network through Transportation Management System(TMS) implementation across North America and Europe. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing relationships with our third-party TMS teams as well as design easy-to-use, relevant, and insightful user experiences for our planners along with the underlying technical platform across geos and channels.
What You’ll Do
Drive a deep understanding of Wayfair’s internal users and carriers, supply chain metrics, financial drivers, and business outcomes to inform product strategy.
Lead cross-functional programs with internal stakeholders and third-party consultants to successfully migrate transportation movements into a third-party TMS..
Collaborate with Business and Operations stakeholders to prioritize and develop impactful solutions that drive key business value.
Execute an Agile roadmap by collaborating closely with engineering, design, and analytics teams to deliver user-centric, data-driven solutions
Communicate the roadmap progress to stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership, ensuring transparency and buy-in.
Align and track OKRs for key product initiatives to ensure alignment with stakeholder objectives.
What You’ll Need
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent
combination of education and experience is preferred
4 + years building products at scale from concept to launch and beyond, preferably with Supply Chain domain expertise
Experience building internal platforms or enterprise-scale tools used by multiple teams.
Strong analytical and data-driven decision making skills
Strong ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment while utilizing good mechanisms for planning and execution
Technical fluency to effectively communicate with engineering. A technical degree is a plus.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills at the senior partner level.
Collaborative, team-oriented mindset with a bias for action.
Prior Experience in logistics, operations heavy domain, TMS implementation(e.g., Manhattan Associates) or consultant experience.
Familiarity with EDI formats (e.g., EDI 204, 210) used by carriers to communicate with TMS systems.
Basic SQL/BigQuery for self-service analysis
