Job Summary:
The Machine Technician III is responsible for producing metal products by programming, setting up, and operating both manual and CNC machining equipment. This role includes monitoring machines, performing quality checks, adjusting offsets, and maintaining production efficiency and safety.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Program, set up, and operate CNC machines with minimal supervision, making necessary offsets as needed.
• Monitor CNC milling and turning operations to meet quality and time standards.
• Read blueprints and use precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges, comparators) accurately.
• Perform and document inspections to ensure parts meet specifications and tolerances.
• Record and maintain accurate quality control data.
• Understand tooling requirements and perform minor tool repairs.
• Troubleshoot machine, tooling, and program issues effectively.
• Prioritize and organize work to meet deadlines.
• Apply proper workmanship techniques to maintain high-quality output.
• Follow all safety procedures when operating equipment and handling materials.
• Take direction from supervisors and work cooperatively with team members.
• Communicate clearly with supervisors and co-workers.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
