Medical Assistant
Behavioral Health Network (BHN), the largest provider of behavioral health services in Western Massachusetts, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant to join our team. What You’ll Do
Responsibilities
As a Certified Medical Assistant at BHN you will provide direct care and daily support to individuals in treatment for substance use disorders. Responsibilities include:
- Take vital signs
- Assist with intake assessments and medical histories
- Monitor patients for withdrawal symptoms or changes in condition
- Update medical records and patient charts
- Encourage a safe, supportive and therapeutic environment
Pay: $27.00 per hour
Hours: 7am-1pm Monday - Thursday
Who You Are
- High School Diploma or GED (required).
- Completion of a Certified Medical Assistant course or equivalent (required).
- Prior experience in a hospital, behavioral health, or recovery setting (preferred).
- Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- Compassionate, dependable, and committed to supporting individuals in recovery.
