INTERIOR DESIGN PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST
We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our design team! The procurement specialist is a crucial part of our creative process. They are responsible for the coordination and implementation of all FF&E (furniture, fixtures & equipment) goods for our design projects. This role will work closely with our design team and their clients to implement some of the most highly visual and prominent portions of the projects.
The procurement specialist will have creative opportunities balanced with business responsibilities. The ideal candidate has 2 or more years of experience in at least two of the following: architectural/interior design, custom manufacturing, product sourcing, or retail buying. This role requires great intrapersonal skills, collaborative skills as well as a high level of organization. You will be working closely with our design team, service vendors and sales representatives to select and detail furniture, lighting and accessories to put the finishing touches on the overall design scheme. The procurement specialist will actively manage estimating, schedules, project communication, documentation, project sourcing, receiving goods, delivery and installation. This will include creating presentations for clients based on the creative direction from the design lead. The candidate will also be responsible for updating and organizing the design library and performing general administrative responsibilities. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited program preferred.
- Organized individual able to multi-task and prioritize tasks.
- Knowledge of FF&E, brands and brand standards preferred, managing vendor relationships.
- Knowledge of ADOBE software, QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook
- Excellent oral and written communication skills

- Ability to collaborate and work well with design team members to accomplish company objectives.
- Understanding of general accounting practices to track orders and invoices

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
