?? Position Overview

• Location : Sharon, MA

• Start Date : ASAP

• Age Range : Elementary School

• Schedule : Monday-Friday, 8:45 AM - 3:15 PM

• Duration: Full 2025-2026 School Year

• Pay Rate: Up to $25/hour

?? What You'll Do

• Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with diverse needs

• Implement behavior support plans and assist with academic activities

• Collect and document data on student behavior and progress

• Support students with ASD, developmental disabilities, and behavioral challenges

• Assist with changing/toileting as needed

? Who We're Looking For

• Experience in Special Education and Behavioral Support

• Skilled in de-escalation, data collection, and behavior tracking

• Comfortable working in sub-separate classrooms and with students exhibiting behaviors such as aggression, eloping, flopping, or self-injury

• Calm, patient, and flexible in dynamic environments

• Willing to support other students and classrooms as needed

• Calm demeanor

? Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities

• Proven experience in behavioral support, including de-escalation techniques

• Ability to provide academic support in classroom settings

• Strong skills in data collection and behavior tracking

• High school diploma required

• Comfortable working in sub-separate classrooms and with students exhibiting behaviors such as aggression, eloping, flopping, or self-injury

Minimum Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent required

• Comply with all relevant professional standards of practice

• Current CPR if applicable

• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
