Make a difference as a In Home Therapist - Masters LevelAs an In Home Therapist at New Life Counseling and Wellness Center, you will play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive client care through assessment, diagnostic formulation, and safety planning. Your responsibilities will include providing clinical case management and establishing vital linkages to community supports, resources, and opportunities for clients. You will coordinate a multi-modal approach to care, offering individual, family, and group treatment in various settings, including clients' homes. This position allows you to provide intensive family treatment and support interventions, empowering youth and their families to overcome behavioral challenges. Additionally, you will work collaboratively with schools and other service providers to ensure that care strategies are integrated, clinically coherent, and effective, ultimately enhancing the overall experience of in home therapy for those you serve.
What you need to be successfulTo thrive as an In Home Therapist at New Life Counseling and Wellness Center, candidates must possess a Master's Degree and at least one year of clinical experience, showcasing a robust understanding of therapeutic techniques and practices. Strong problem-solving skills are essential, as you'll navigate complex situations and develop tailored strategies for each client. Empathy is key, allowing you to connect deeply with youth and families, fostering trust and collaboration.
Proficiency in various software tools is also necessary for effective documentation and case management, ensuring that you can streamline treatment plans and communicate with other service providers efficiently. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills will enable you to coordinate effectively across different environments, from homes to schools. Ultimately, a commitment to integrating resources and supports will be vital for delivering impactful in home therapy.
Required education : a Master's Degree in Mental Health or Related Field
Required experience : at least 1 year of Clinical Experience
Required language : Bilingual is a Plus!!!
