Senior Accountant
Kforce's client is a well-established commercial real estate owner & investor and is in search of a Senior Property Accountant. This individual will be responsible for managing the financial close and general ledger functions for an assigned group of properties. Primary responsibilities:
- Maintenance of General Ledger and Reporting (Monthly, Quarterly, Annual)
- Calculation of Annual CAM and TAX true ups
- Work closely with property management team in order to resolve property related issues and ensure quality reporting-Bank reconciliations
- Oversee Cash receipts/receivables for portfolio
- Review Budgets and provide feedback to Property Managers
- Lease review, interpretation and compliance
- Debt review and compliance reporting
- Partnership agreement review and compliance reporting
- Maintaining and processing quarterly distributions to partners
- Miscellaneous Partner requests related to Due diligence of properties
- Work with outside CPA firm for Annual Book and Tax requirements
- B.A./B.S. degree in Accounting/Finance
- Knowledge of or ability to learn property management accounting processes, including use of any industry specific software (MRI, Yardi or similar)
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of all aspects of accounting
- Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
- Great time management skills- ability to prioritize responsibilities
