Outside Sales - Industrial
NorthEast Electrical is seeking a Full-time, Outside Salesperson to join our Industrial team based in Brockton, MA!
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8AM to 5PM
Rate: $80,000 to $100,000 commensurate with experience. This is a commissioned base position

As a member of the Outside Sales team, you will be responsible for growing an existing customer base as well as developing and closing new customer business. You are expected to be in front of these customers on a consistent basis through office and job site visits, joint sales calls with preferred vendors, and entertainment events. You are responsible to sell our Digital platform to enhance your customers’ buying experience.
What a Day In This Role Looks Like
- Develop and maintain favorable relationships with new and existing customers in order to increase revenue and gross margin performance on a yearly basis.
- Analyze the needs of your customers and ensure that Northeast’s current products and services consistently meet those needs. Emphasize our capability with our Digital Tools (website, mobile app, ELink, EQuotes, etc.)
- Responsible to participate in on-going training for Digital Tools.
- Continuously develop and offer original value add solutions as customers’ needs change.
- Provide technical assistance to customers and use industry and product knowledge to support and build sales.
- Work with internal company resources to ensure customers are getting the best service on day-to-day stock sales.
- Help bridge relationship between customers and our inside support teams to drive project business.
- Perform other related duties as required or directed by manager to drive and support alignment with the company’s strategic initiatives.
What we are looking for you to bring to us:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred with emphasis on business and/or equivalent knowledge through job related experience and training.
- Minimum of 4 years Industry and Product knowledge preferred.
- Strong computer skills with emphasis on Excel and Website navigation
- Must be self-motivated with the ability to develop short and long term goals.
- Driver’s license and acceptable driving record required.
